KAS Foundation – a new generation as well as incredible infant MFI took its birth in the year 2003, it has grown manifold within a very short period of time. KAS is working towards its super goal to lead poor to prosperity. It has extended its operational area to 5 states i.e. Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Maharastra, West Bengal & Madhy Pradesh. At present 6,02,000 poor household have been associated with KAS Foundation. Being a new generation MFI besides flexi repayment schedule for micro credit, KAS is into Business correspondent mode with ICICI Bank and Micro Systematic Investment plan to provide savings and investment services to its needy clients.

Initially KAS Foundation gave emphasis to form groups in different parts of Orissa both in rural and urban areas to provide them financial services. KAS Foundation is the first MFI who started its operations in all the Districts of Orissa even in the tribal dominated inaccessible Districts. KAS gave emphasis for speedy growth as well as maintaining quality and keeping the cost low.
